Square Enix has announced that "Super Mario RPG" will be released on November 17, 2023, as revealed in the official program "Nintendo Direct 2023.6.21" broadcasted by Nintendo on June 21st at 11:00 PM. This game is a remake of the RPG originally released for the Super Famicom in 1996, with the systems, battles, and the appearance of Mario and his companions remaining the same while the graphics have been updated.

The colorful atmosphere of the original is preserved, allowing players to embark on an adventure in a nostalgic world recreated in 3D. The revealed footage showcases the transformed characters such as Geno and Mallow, who join Mario in his adventures, as well as the redesigned enemies like Dodokeyoung, all presented with the latest graphics. Additionally, new elements have been added, including the ability to time button presses during battles to nullify damage or perform attacks on the entire group of monsters.

The battle UI has also been modernized, and multiple nostalgic mini-games are included.
This remake version of "Super Mario RPG" offers not only enjoyment for fans but also welcomes newcomers to experience the rearranged music in its entirety. We can look forward to hidden bosses and further additions to the game.
