After the final episode of the TV anime "Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katana kaji no sato hen" aired on June 18, 2023 (Sunday), it was announced that the anime adaptation of the "Hashira keiko hen," which continues the story, will be produced.

"Kimetsu no Yaiba" is a work based on a manga of the same name that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 2016 to 2020. Following the success of the first season of the TV anime and the theatrical releases, the second season, “Yukaku hen," and the third season, “Katana kaji no sato hen," are currently being broadcast.

In the final episode of the “Katana kaji no sato hen," it was expanded to a special broadcast lasting 70 minutes and depicted the resolution with the Upper Moon demons. Subsequently, the anime adaptation of the "Hashira keiko hen" was announced, raising expectations among fans. Furthermore, the original manga portrays the "Infinity Castle Battle" after the "Hashira Training," and there is also anticipation for the anime adaptation of that episode.

In the "Hashira keiko hen," the Snake Hashira, Iguro Kobanai, the Wind Hashira, Shinazugawa sanemi, and the Stone Hashira, Himejima Gyoumei, will showcase notable performances. Moreover, other Hashira who fought alongside Tanjiro and the others in the "Katana kaji no sato hen" will also make appearances, leading up to the conclusion of the story.

2023年6月18日（日）に放送されたTVアニメ『鬼滅の刃 刀鍛冶の里編』最終回の後、物語の続きである「柱稽古編」のアニメ化が発表されました。

『鬼滅の刃』は、2016年から2020年まで「週刊少年ジャンプ」で連載された同名マンガを原作とした作品です。テレビアニメ第1期や劇場版の成功を経て、現在は第2期の「遊郭編」と第3期の「刀鍛冶の里編」が放送されています。

「刀鍛冶の里編」最終回では、特別放送として70分に拡大され、上弦の鬼との決着まで描かれました。その後、「柱稽古編」のアニメ化が発表され、ファンから期待が高まっています。
また、原作マンガでは「柱稽古」の後に「無限城での戦い」が描かれており、そのエピソードの
アニメ化にも期待が寄せられています。

「柱稽古編」では、蛇柱・伊黒小芭内、風柱・不死川実弥、岩柱・悲鳴嶼行冥が目立った活躍を見せます。さらに、「刀鍛冶の里編」で炭治郎たちとともに戦った他の柱も登場し、物語の結末まで描かれることになるでしょう。
