疑問副詞 (Why)とは

疑問詞は、疑問文を作る時に使われる単語で、”Who”、 ”What”、 ”Where”、 ”Which”、 ”When”、 ”Why”などのことを言います。疑問副詞は、疑問詞の中で副詞に関する情報をたずねる時に使われる、”Where”、 ”When”、 ”How”、 ”Why”になります。疑問副詞の”Why”は「なぜ」や「どうして」を意味し、特定の行動や状況の理由や原因をたずねる時に使われます。疑問副詞のWhyを使った文章の作り方は、①文章の頭に疑問詞のWhyを置き、②尋ねたい理由や原因を省略した疑問文を続け、③文章の最後に”?”をつけます。

疑問副詞 (Why)の例文

Why did you see her?：なぜ彼女に会ったのですか？
⇨ Because she called me.：彼女から電話があったからです。

Why do you like chocolate?：どうしてチョコレートが好きなんですか？
⇨ Because it is delicious.：美味しいからです。

補足説明

上の例文は、話し手は理由をたずねています。聞き手は「Because」に続けて理由を答えています。ここで、Becauseは「なぜなら」の意味を持ち、理由を説明する時に文章の頭につけて、「なぜなら〜です」の文章を作ります。
